Ferguson: Ferguson offers turn-of-the-century two-stories, condos, ranches and a few mansions. Approximately 300 homes are included in a "historic inventory". It is approximately 10 minutes from the airport and boasts Florissant Valley Community College within its boundaries and University of Missouri-St. Louis just outside.

Florissant, derived from the French word for flowers, is the oldest city in St. Louis County.
